How We Rate

1

What actively lowers the score

Four specific things pull the score down regardless of other performance. Repeated payout delays that are not driven by KYC on the player side (one-off is noise; three in a row is a pattern). A bonus that reads differently in the FAQ than in the terms-and-conditions page — ambiguity in a casino's own documents is the house's problem, not the player's. A regulator sanction, warning or any public complaint whose resolution the operator declines to confirm. And a support channel that is advertised as 24/7 but is in fact unresponsive during local off-hours.

An example of a scoring round

HugeWin's current score, by criterion: payout speed 4.5 (median USDT TRC-20 payout in the last five tests was 22 minutes), bonus honesty 4.0 (welcome offer wagering of 40x is above our comfortable median of 35x but is clearly stated), compliance 4.0 (Curaçao licence active, no public enforcement), catalogue 4.5 (5000+ games from top studios, deep live-dealer lobby), support 4.0 (live-chat median 4 minutes in business hours, email 8 hours), usability 4.5 (clean mobile site, promo code field clearly visible). Weighted: 4.50.25 + 4.00.20 + 4.00.15 + 4.50.15 + 4.00.15 + 4.50.10 = 4.3, rounded to 4.4 for the top-of-page summary.

3

Re-review cycle

Every operator we score is re-reviewed on a quarterly cadence, plus an unscheduled re-review if any of these happen: a licence change, an ownership change, a new payment partner coming in or going out, a wagering change on the welcome offer, or three or more reader messages describing the same payout problem within a month. A re-review re-measures the payout criterion from scratch; the other five are updated only if the evidence has changed.

4

The criteria we score on

The HugeWin score on this site is a weighted average of six criteria that we think actually matter to a player, in this order of weight: payout speed (25%), bonus honesty (20%), licence and compliance history (15%), catalogue depth (15%), support responsiveness (15%), and site usability (10%). The weights are the same for every operator we might cover (today only HugeWin, but the frame is portable). Each criterion is scored from 1 to 5 in half-point steps and the weighted sum is reported to one decimal.

5

How each criterion is scored

Payout speed: measured as the median wall-clock time between requesting a withdrawal and seeing it on-chain for crypto, or settled on the card for fiat, across our last five tested withdrawals. Under 30 minutes is a 5; 24 hours is a 3; over 72 hours or any arbitrary delay is a 1. Bonus honesty: scored against the written terms — a bonus that advertises "150 free spins" and delivers 150 spins at the stated per-spin value with the stated wagering is a 5; hidden game weighting, surprise max-win caps or non-sticky-advertised-as-sticky bonuses drop the score. Compliance: active licence in good standing and no public enforcement actions is a 5; disputes without resolution lower it. Catalogue, support and usability each have a short written rubric in the archive.

6

Limitations of this method

A rubric is not objective, it is a formalised opinion. Our weights put payout speed and bonus honesty above catalogue depth; a reader who cares more about having obscure slot providers in the lobby than about getting a withdrawal within the hour will reasonably weight things differently. We publish the rubric so that disagreement is specific — if you think payout speed should be 20% and compliance 20%, you can read our evidence and recompute the number for yourself.
